IFIX Falls 0.56% and Closes at 3,741 Points on Tuesday

The IFIX ended Tuesday’s session (1st) at 3,741.80 points, down 0.56% from the previous close. The index, which serves as the benchmark for real estate funds, lost 20.99 points over the day, following a downward trend.

During the session, the IFIX ranged between a low of 3,737.89 points and a high of 3,763.15 points. The final figure was 3.91 points above the day’s lowest level but well below the high. Compared with the previous close of 3,762.79 points, the index ended in negative territory.

Over the past 52 weeks, the IFIX has fluctuated between 3,469.47 and 3,944.38 points, and Tuesday’s close was within that range. Intraday trading showed moderate volatility, with small swings between gains and losses, but the 0.56% decline prevailed.

Most liquid funds

Among the most traded real estate funds, CPTS11 (Capitania Securities II FII) led in volume, with 2.27 million units traded. The fund ended the day down 0.67%. GGRC11 (Zagros Renda Imobiliária FII) traded 1.87 million units and closed up 0.77%.

XPSF11 (XP Selection Fundo de Fundos FII) had 1.74 million units traded, gaining 2.03%. MXRF11 (Maxi Renda FII) had 1.64 million units traded and rose 0.33%. MCRE11 (Maua Capital Real Estate FII) totaled 1.04 million units but fell 3.05% at the close, one of the biggest losses among high-volume funds.

Top gainers and losers

GZIT11 (Gazit Malls FII) posted the biggest gain of the day, advancing 4.36%. The unit gained R$ 1.54 to close at R$ 36.21. Next, BRCR11 (BTG Pactual Corporate Office Fund) rose 2.04%, with the unit gaining R$ 0.82 to end at R$ 41.03.

Among the funds with negative performance, ARRI11 (Átrio Reit Recebíveis Imobiliários FII) led the losses, falling 9.45%. The unit lost R$ 0.45 and ended at R$ 4.31. TRBL11 (Tellus Rio Bravo Renda Logística FII) also posted a sharp decline of 5.38%, with the unit falling R$ 2.66 to close at R$ 46.80.

In summary, the IFIX declined from the previous day’s close, remaining within its 12-month range. The most traded real estate funds showed mixed movements, with some gaining and others posting losses during the session.
